Breaking News Manchester United interested in Barcelona winger club open to sale for €60m+ offers.
Manchester United have been constantly linked with moves for Barcelona stars in the recent past, with players like Frenkie de Jong and Ronald Araujo being the subjects of the Premier League side’s interest.
Now, it appears that another player from the Blaugrana club has caught the attention of Erik ten Hag’s side heading into the final two weeks of the summer transfer window.
Manchester United eye Raphinha
Indeed, according to SPORT, Manchester United are interested in signing Barcelona and Brazil star winger Raphinha.
The 27-year-old Brazilian international has been constantly linked with a departure this summer, with clubs from Saudi Arabia taking an interest while Newcastle United from the Premier League have also been mentioned as suitors.
Now, it appears that Manchester United have also joined the list of admirers of the former Leeds United winger.
As per the report, the Red Devils are planning to part ways with Antony, who has struggled to live up to expectations at Old Trafford. Jadon Sancho’s future is also not certain, and as such, United see Raphinha as a possible reinforcement on the flanks.
Raphinha wants to stay but Barcelona open to sale
Raphinha, for his part, has always been firm on his stance of not wanting to leave Barcelona despite being offered a ludicrous amount of money from Saudi Arabia. And he is unlikely to change his mind easily for Manchester United either.
However, Barcelona are aware that they need to make at least one big sale in the coming days and see the Brazilian international as someone who can generate revenue.
Furthermore, with the Blaugrana having Lamine Yamal as the starter on the right and working to sign another winger, Raphinha’s place as a regular starter is not guaranteed either.
As such, the Catalans are open to selling Raphinha as long as they receive an offer worth €60 million or more. What now remains to be seen is whether Manchester United’s interest materialises into something more substantial.
