Unfortunately, this significant injury will sideline Topic for the entire 2024–25 NBA season as he focuses on his rehabilitation. The Thunder had high hopes for the 6-foot-6 point guard, whom they selected with the 12th pick in the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft.
Topic’s injury history has been a rollercoaster of challenges. While playing for Crvena Zvezda in Serbia, he initially suffered what was believed to be a sprained left knee in early January.
Despite the injury, Topic showed resilience by returning to the court in late April. However, his return was short-lived, as he re-injured the same knee in mid-May, leading to the discovery of the ACL tear.
