Good News: Just In, Dallas Mavericks Confirm The Signing Of Another Top Experience Star

Spencer Dinwiddie is joining the Dallas Mavericks again.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, Dinwiddie and the Mavericks have reached a one-year contract agreement. The seasoned guard will provide the Mavs with the depth they need.

The Mavericks’ top guards are without a doubt Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic, but Dallas’ backcourt was unreliable without them. Dante Exum had moments of brilliance, but he was also erratic at times.

Although Dinwiddie isn’t particularly good, he is a dependable veteran who can play both guard positions. He is also a competent three-point shooter, which Dallas occasionally lacked during the NBA Finals.

Klay Thompson’s arrival will undoubtedly help in that area. A team can never have too many three-point shooters.

Over his career, Dinwiddie’s three-point percentage is just 33.3 percent. Nevertheless, after joining the Los Angeles Lakers for the 2023–24 season, he shot 38.9 percent in 28 games.

Mavericks and Spencer Dinwiddie were connected during the 2023–2024 season. Maybe in the 2024–25 season, Dinwiddie can help the Mavericks advance and claim a championship.
