BREAKING NEWS: Super star Jason Kelce of the Eagles declared his departure because of…

Jason Kelce of the Eagles says he’s still considering retiring before the 2024 season.

Jason Kelce’s future is still up in the air as the NFL schedule gets closer to the draft and farther away from the Super Bowl.

Since the 2022 season ended, there have been rumors that Kelce might retire. Following the Philadelphia Eagles’ January playoff loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers—a game that left Kelce looking visibly upset on the sidelines—that conversation became more heated.

After telling teammates he would be hanging up his cleats, the Eagles star apparently changed his mind.

When Kelce appeared on the Superfly podcast alongside Dana Carvey and David Spade, he was asked what he would do next.

“I’m not sure. Right now, I’m attempting to figure things out. I’m currently looking into many options in case I decide to retire. If I do wind up playing again, I’m still going to the gym and staying in shape,” Kelce stated.

In any case, offensive lineman Jordan Mailata, Kelce’s teammate with the Eagles, informed John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia that there is “no shot” Kelce will return in 2024.

During the Super Bowl week in February, Kelce, who co-hosts the New Heights podcast with his brother Travis, apparently had meetings with Fox and ESPN regarding a potential broadcasting career.

The 36-year-old played in 13 NFL seasons, making seven trips to the Pro Bowl and winning a Super Bowl with the Eagles in 2018.
