SAD NEWS: John Patrick Schneider Head Coach of Toronto Blue Jays is Gone…..

While out to lunch, Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider performed the Heimlich Maneuver on a woman in order to save her from choking.

Schneider was eating with his wife “about two weeks ago” in Dunedin, Florida. Schneider was named the Blue Jays manager after a productive interim tenure.

The 43-year-old helped a woman at Clear Sky Draught Haus, north of Clearwater, near the Blue Jays player development complex, who had a shrimp obstructing her breathing.

According to Scneider, via Sportsnet, “[She] was choking on a shrimp, wandered over there, asked if I could help.” “She was fine, just a couple Heimlich’s and no one else on her table was assisting.”

“Perfect location, ideal moment,” Schneider informed reporters on Sunday. I was merely having a nice lunch. I made the decision to walk over and see if I could help because you either help or you don’t.

Schneider was unafraid to step in even though he hadn’t done it much before.

I hadn’t done it since I learnt it in the sixth grade. It was like, “I think I remember how to do this,” at that point.”Being a bigger guy, I believe that somewhat helped.”

Schneider was given a free beer as compensation for his bravery.

He said, “She said, ‘Thank you,’ and continued eating with her pals.” “I believe that I was a little more shook than she was.”

Schneider claimed that although his act of selflessness seemed like something out of a Hollywood script, it was not at all like that moment.

“I guess it simply popped up spontaneously, but it wasn’t like popping a champagne bottle.”

The Clear Sky Draught Haus General Manager was given firsthand reports of what transpired.

Christakos told Sportsnet, “I heard he was incredibly nice and really gentle, and then helped her with the Heimlich.” “He walked back over with a pretty casual demeanor.”

The fact that Schneider remains composed under duress should be encouraging for his first season officially leading the Toronto baseball team, as he led them to an AL Wild Card Series with a 46-28 record.
