Eleven of the twelve players who led the Boston Celtics to a championship in the 2023–24 campaign are returning to the squad.
Oshae Brissett is the only member of the group without a contract for the 2024–25 season, but there is still hope that the free agency forward would return.
“After re-signing Luke Kornet and Xavier Tillman this week, the Celtics have one slot available on the roster left. Wing Oshae Brissett declined his player option last week, and the organisation is interested in getting him back,” Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe wrote in an article that was published on Thursday.
However, Brissett was still looking for a chance with a team that may give him more playing time as of Wednesday night. In order to concentrate on his free agency, Brissett is forgoing the Canadian national team’s Olympic training camp.”
