Without a doubt, the finest NFL club in recent memory is the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs have made four trips to the Super Bowl in the previous five seasons. On three of the four occasions, they prevailed.
They played the San Francisco 49ers in the 2023 Super Bowl. At 19-19 in the regulation time, they were knotted. The 49ers took the lead in overtime to add some spice to the situation. Mecole Hardman turned a pass from Patrick Mahomes with five seconds remaining into a touchdown just as they were about to celebrate. The Chiefs will want to repeat their successful campaign from the previous year.
NFL’s Tight Schedule for the Chiefs
The Baltimore Ravens and Patrick Mahomes’ team will rematch for the AFC Championship to start the 2024 season. The following week, they’ll play the Cincinnati Bengals. Their struggles wouldn’t finish there, though, because they would next play the San Francisco 49ers in a rematch of Super Bowl LVIII.
The NFL’s Vice President of Broadcast Planning, Mike North, acknowledged that the Chiefs likely had the toughest schedule in the league. The Chiefs have several short weeks because they play every day of the week save Tuesday.
