Departure: Eagles Running Back Reportedly Signs With The Rams After Six Seasons…….

The Rams appear to be taking a risk on the former running back for the Eagles.

One longstanding C player is no longer with the team.

Boston Scott, an experienced running back, played for the Eagles for the first six seasons of his career until becoming a free agent this offseason. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Scott is apparently on his way out of town and will be joining the Los Angeles Rams.

“Sources tell Schefter that Boston Scott, a former Eagles running back, and the Los Angeles Rams have agreed to a one-year contract.” “Among others, the Rams backfield now includes Scott, Blake Corum, and Kyren Williams.”

The New Orleans Saints chose Scott in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, however he never played for the team. After being cut, he briefly joined the Saints’ practice squad.

He was signed by Philadelphia after being chosen from the Saints practice squad, and he has been a member of the team ever since. Scott was a key player for the Eagles, having played for the team for portions of six seasons.

Scott had 1,295 running yards, 16 rushing touchdowns, 71 receptions, 566 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown in his six seasons with the Eagles.

Although his exact position with the Rams is unknown, it is most likely to be comparable to his one with Philadelphia. Williams, who is already projected to be the team’s lead back, is already in Los Angeles; nevertheless, Scott may be featured in other capacities.

Scott was a key component of the Eagles’ offense and lived a long time in Philadelphia. I’m hoping he can make an impression on his second chance.
