Rashee Rice said to Mahomes, “I have something for you.” Mahomes was shocked by what he saw when he showed up for the meeting with Rice and Marquise “Hollywood” Brown. Rice was wearing a t-shirt with the widely circulated picture of Mahomes in the bare midsection.
The image and the hashtag “DadBod” went popular on social media. But it came out of nowhere, and he said he had something for me. He told me that even before he came to work out. I was unaware of what that would involve. The clothing is a dad-bod shirt, of course. I shall, nevertheless, keep working on it. I like how manly I look. I’ll make some progress, but I won’t get rid of it entirely. Fans of the Chiefs don’t care about that “dad bod” because Mahomes continues to win games for the team.
The Chiefs’ locker room after their victory in the AFC Championship Game is where Mahomes’ picture was taken. Rice claimed that a teammate had made him the shirt a few days after the Chiefs defeated the Ravens 17-10 in Baltimore. “I think that after the game on the shirt, the AFC Championship, I went into the locker room and the shirt was just sitting in front of my locker,” Rice said last week at the 101 Awards. “Everyone is loving that shirt. This is the dad-bod season. If Rice’s anonymous teammate gave him that item as a gift, it’s most likely in the hands of other Chiefs players.
