AP/KVRR LOS ANGELES, CA Grant Nelson, a native of Devils Lake and former NDSU standout, is North Dakota’s own March Madness star this morning.

With 38 seconds left, Nelson made the game-winning three-point shot, and Alabama defeated top-seeded North Carolina 89-87 to advance to the NCAA Tournament’s Elite Eight for the second time in program history.
