The NFL management sends a letter of suspension to Bengals wide receiver Zac Taylor…
Zac Taylor, the head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals, received a critical response on social media after openly bidding the team’s supporters goodbye. Pickett, who was deceived by Pittsburgh into believing they would sign Russell Wilson to start at quarterback, has been clearly upset about his situation there.
Pickett believed he would be able to push Wilson for the starting job with the Steelers. Nevertheless, head coach Mike Tomlin said that Pickett Wilson will play with the first team in the spring. The Steelers sent their previous first-round pick to the Eagles in response to Pickett’s trade request.
Pickett used Instagram to say goodbye to Pittsburgh. Without mentioning the Steelers by name, he reminisced on his time spent in the city with both the Pittsburgh Panthers and the Steelers. Pittsburgh said it best: thank you! Moving to this city seven years ago was the biggest adjustment of my life. I’m appreciative of all the folks that supported me along the way and the amazing people I met by chance.
I had conversations and made friendships for life that I will always cherish. I’m excited about this new phase in my career and feel privileged to be able to play for the team that initially sparked my passion for the game in my early years.
