Todd Bowles is no longer with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to owner Joel Glazer.

 

 

 

Many Manchester United fans are upset about the Glazers’ ownership, and their recent actions at an NFL game may have made them even more so.

Bryan, Joel, and Avram Glazer congratulated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ players, coaches, front office personnel, and support staff after their victory on Sunday.

The owners of Manchester United were astonished by the Bucs’ third consecutive victory.

Bryan, Joel, and Avram Glazer, the NFL team’s owners, saw the 2021 Super Bowl victors upset the Green Bay Packers 34–20 on Sunday at Lambeau Field. The players, coach, front desk, and support staff all went into the locker room after the game and gave each other individual congrats.

As the Buccaneers surged to a 50% winning record this season and took the lead in the NFL South, many smiles were seen. The way the Glazers have treated the Bucs may enrage Manchester United supporters, who have a history of keeping their distance and who have heard more and more demands to sell the team over the years.

There hasn’t been a Premier League victory at Old Trafford since Sir Alex Ferguson’s last season as manager in 2013. They placed last in their group for only the second time in their history, with only four points from six games. Since 2008, they have not triumphed in the Champions League.

Worse, they conceded the most goals of any Premier League side in the group stage of the competition—a total of 15—while scoring the fewest points in Champions League history. Another issue that the supporters have with the Glazers is the amount of debt that they have made the team incur. Over £1 billion in debt has been accumulated by United since their controversial purchase in 2005.Furthermore, as Cristiano Ronaldo alluded to in his controversial 2022 interview with Piers Morgan, the American family has not spent enough money to modernize training facilities and stadiums. Some associated with the 20-time league winners feel negatively about their absence from the directors’ box, and they have been charged with not keeping in regular contact with personnel and fans.

Joel Glazer hasn’t attended a match at Old Trafford since United’s 1-0 quarterfinal Champions League loss to Barcelona in 2019. Last season, Avram Glazer was present at Wembley Stadium for the United men’s Carabao Cup and FA Cup finals, as well as the women’s FA Cup final. They go to Buccaneers games a lot. As the Florida team was winning the Packers at Anfield, United held on for a point against Liverpool.
