The head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders is more bothered by his headache after the Patriots and Seahawks made incredible plays.

The Los Vegas Raiders, whose own interim head coach, Antonio Pierce, may be on the verge of being plucked, are more troubled by it than the other six front offices combined.

The Raiders were one of just two teams, until yesterday’s major news: they had not asked an outside candidate for head coach. According to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero, the other team, the Atlanta Falcons, has subsequently asked for an interview with highly sought-after offensive coordinator Ben Johnson of the Detroit Lions.

However, in the absence of any scheduled interviews, the Tennessee Titans have requested that the Raiders interview Pierce for their own head coach position.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that the AFC South team may consider using Pierce to replace Mike Vrabel. Rapoport also hinted that Pierce would likely interview with the Raiders.

He posted the following on X, the former Twitter platform: “A source said that the #Titans have asked to interview #Raiders interim coach Antonio Pierce for their open head coaching position.” Regarding the Raiders’ interest in one of their own players, he continued, “Las Vegas may have some competition.”

Many individuals expressed their opinions on social media about Pierce’s likely departure from the Raiders and prospective transfer to another team.

Some NFL fans linked him to the opening in Washington, while another commented, “The Raiders would be making a HUGE mistake letting him go.” “I hope Antonio stays with the Raiders, but I could certainly see Washington reaching out to him as well with their future branding & all for 2024,” the author continued.

Pierce finished his nine-game stint at 5-4, and Raiders owner Mark Davis recently told ESPN he is “very thrilled” about the job Pierce accomplished.

“Going 4-2 in the division is obviously a boost for us, and I think the team really played well down the stretch,” David continued. “Of course, the division is the first thing we need to address. And we defeated Kansas City at home in a hard game, and we finished the season by dominating Denver.”

Although Pierce excites Davis, other clubs are also enthused about him, and the Seahawks and Patriots might now be the next to examine him more closely.
